About WYNRS

WYNRS - the Wynton Rufer Soccer School of Excellence is a charitable trust and was founded by Oceania Player of the Century Wynton Rufer in 1997. 

WYNRS is an acronym for Wynton Rufer Soccer and is pronounced “Winners”. The main branch is based in Auckland with small programmes in Wellington, Christchurch, Hawkes Bay and Dunedin.

Soccer coaching/user pay system for 5 to 17 year old kids is the core strength of WYNRS. This includes academy, after school, holiday programmes and international tours. Today WYNRS is a leading brand in the NZ football youth development.

Furthermore WYNRS provides free coaching through the SOCCER 4 LIFE programme based mainly in south Auckland. This generally takes place during school time at low decile primary schools. 

Ultimately we hope to equip our youth with vision and life skills as well as making them into leaders of the community.
