The annual W.Rufer Charity Golf Tournament

Friday the 27th of November was the annual Wynton Rufer Charity Golf Tournament for the benefit of talented players that can't afford the WYNRS programme on their own. Before all the Teams had spread out over the Maungakiekie Golf Course, the tournament started around noon with a nice Barbecue.

About 6:00pm, the teams enjoyed dinner and the following prize giving together. After an fantastic tournament, the team "Coverstaff Recruitment" won the trophy close before the last year winner "The Right Track".

With the income of the tournament it's possible to give these players the opportunity to participate at the WYNRS programme and improve themselves.

One player that gained a profit from past tournaments is Moses Dyer,who had the opportnity to train with WYNRS for free. He was nominated this year for the first time in the NZ- National Sqaud by Coach Anthony Hudson. The Coach himself was part of more then 40 players and eleven Teams that played the tournament and are supporting our players for the future.

Other Celebreties like Brendon Telfer and Paul Woolright also played the Tournament and supported our WYNRS talents.
